VAGAB 3rd Portuguese Group - Gender Roles Across Generations

There we have short narration about gender roles in our families in the past, now, and how we want them to be in our future families. It's very curious to see how they have changed in so little time!

  1. Well done everyone.
Rita do you mean that your grandparents took decisions for your parents? What do you mean your brother does nothing, nothing?
I can't hear the end of your piece, what is missing?
Dora, I liked your description of the past, it is very interesting and just what we normally imagine the past was. I agree one day at a time.
Joao, your situation at home sounds very fair. I love that you and your Father cook, that is brilliant!
Your situation Pedro seems more classical, but if it is your mother's decision that is fine.

Well done all of you, a nicely composed text.

  4. Hi guys,
We could understand your English very well, good job on that! Also, we see a lot of similarities in your family. In ours homes the tasks in the household are equally devided between our parents. Next to that we also help out if we can. We have more freedom than they did when they had our age. We have a different kind of relationship with them than they had with their parents. They are still our parents but we can talk to them more openly and sometimes even treat them more like friends.
    Greetings from the Netherlands!
